Terms of service

Kept.ly reads financial activity you provide, sorts it, and produces worksheets, reports and reminders. It prepares figures. It does not compute or file a tax return, and nothing it shows is tax, legal or accounting advice. You, or the preparer you hand the package to, are responsible for the return.

• You need a working email address. Keep your sign-in method to yourself.
• You may invite members and viewers to your organization. You are responsible for what they do in it.
• Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to connect.

Classification uses rules and a model, and both can be wrong. Every number traces back to the transactions behind it so you can check it. Reports generated while any accuracy check fails are marked DRAFT. Review the package before you file from it.

Kept.ly is free during the friends-and-family period. We will say so plainly before anything costs money.

You can export your data and delete your organization at any time from Settings. We may suspend an account that abuses the service or the people who run it.

To the extent the law allows, Kept.ly is provided as is, and our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
